Today’s truth is about Kylie—a girl I met through a family we adopted 13 years ago. She passed this week at just 17. Her loss led me back to the Thankful Project.
And I realized something...
That project wasn’t just about gratitude. It was about community. People coming together with no politics. No division. Just humanity.
Somewhere along the way, we lost that.
We became so obsessed with being “right” that we forgot how to be kind.
Today, I’m calling myself—and all of us—back to what matters. Love. Story. Community. Impact.
Because if Kylie’s life taught me anything, it’s this:
We only get one shot to be a light in someone’s life. Let’s not waste it on division.
And please continue to lift up Stephanie, Kylie's mom in our prayers as she was everything to her.
