TDT109-Truth is … I have to get political today - The Daily Truth

In today's truth... I have to try and have a sensible middle ground discussion on what is happening in this country, not just in LA. I want to be careful, calculated and logical.
Let’s turn the temperature down and turn the clarity up.
Yes, the immigration situation is out of control. Yes, riots are happening. And no—it’s not just a “right-wing narrative.” It’s reality. And pretending it’s not doesn’t make you woke. It makes you willfully blind.
Here’s the part no one wants to say:
Before 2016, Democrats openly supported border security and even deportation. This was common ground. It wasn’t until politics turned every issue into war that the narrative flipped.
Now, if you believe in strong borders, you’re labeled heartless. But wanting law and order doesn’t make you cruel—it makes you concerned. It makes you American.
This President has taken flak for speaking truths that need to be said. It’s not always clean. It’s not always popular. But it’s real. And real leadership doesn’t wait for polls to take action.
We don’t need more silence. We need more courage.
Let’s stop pretending we have to choose between law and love. We need both. That’s how a civilized nation works.
You want reform? Great. But you can’t reform what you refuse to acknowledge is broken.
So let’s start telling the truth. Let’s start leading again.
