I buy these same books every time I seem them used to give away to young men I have the privilege to mentor. The hardest part of leading IMHO is the need to remain a human being and not a human doing. Measuring results by personal growth, compassion, empathy and humility is a tough standard. KPIs, sales quotas and performance ratings are so much more abstract. Imagine if your rating as a leader asked your team: “Are they a good human?” How would you rate?
