We are committed to making sure unscrupulous judges are held accountable for their actions.
1-Educate the public about the need for an independent and honorable judiciary and it’s indispensability to justice in our society.
2-Educate the public about the need for judges to be faithful to, and maintain professional competence in, the law and should not be swayed by special interests, public clamor, or fear of criticism.
3-Educate the public that judges (i) should perform their duties with respect for others, (ii) should not engage in behavior that is harassing, abusive, prejudiced, or biased, and (iii) should maintain and enforce high standards of conduct and decorum.
4-Advocate for processes and mechanisms aimed at making judges and courts PERSONALLY or institutionally responsible for behaviors and decisions contrary to constitutional or legal standards or that discourage public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judicial system.
5-Advocate for methods and means for achieving greater judicial integrity in the courts of the State of Texas and requiring judges and judicial personnel to be patient, dignified, respectful and courteous to all of those with whom they come in contact.
6-Advocate for a process and means for investigating, disciplining and/or removing judges who are accused of misconduct, a process that is removed from the influence of the judiciary and completely independent to investigate and prosecute rogue judges.
