GTA55-Mary Jane MacArthur - Get on The Ark

In this raw, heart‑wrenching interview on Get on The Ark, host Lisa Conrad sits down with survivor Mary Jane MacArthur to trace a journey from childhood trauma in the Philippines to a dramatic spiritual deliverance in South Florida. Mary recounts being locked in a tiny dirt‑filled hut, surviving a fabricated birth certificate scam, and experiencing a series of supernatural “interventions” that saved her from further abuse. She describes how early exposure to sexual content and prostitution at ages six to nine set a dark path that led to addiction, prostitution, and an abusive relationship that produced two children.Through the interview, Mary shares the pivotal moments when faith broke through the darkness: a grandmother’s nightly prayers, a pastor’s wife who spoke life into her, and a powerful encounter with Jesus that sparked a relentless pursuit toward freedom. She explains how counseling, which her parents initially rejected, later became a cornerstone of her healing, and how she ultimately filed an injunction to protect her children and escape an abusive partner.Lisa and co‑host Darren Conrad highlight the recurring theme of divine rescue—police raids, sudden protective instincts, and the relentless love of a father figure—underscoring the show’s thesis that God delivers ordinary people from extraordinary storms. Mary’s testimony culminates in her current ministry, preaching about deliverance, rejecting past addictions, and living as a testament to the transformative power of Jesus.Listeners are invited to reflect on the reality of spiritual storms, the importance of community support, and the possibility of redemption no matter how deep the wounds. The episode offers a vivid, unfiltered portrait of brokenness turned into freedom, encouraging anyone facing similar battles to seek the Ark of hope.
