GTA53-Pastor Rod Parker - Get on The Ark

In this raw, heart‑rending conversation, host Darren Conrad sits down with revivalist pastor Rod Parker to trace a life that spiraled from childhood terror to a battlefield of faith. Rod recounts the brutal reality of an abusive stepfather, a mother’s desperate kidnapping, and a nomadic childhood that saw him living in more than twenty states before his teens. He describes the violent vows he made as a child, the deep‑seated strongholds of bitterness, and the reckless path that led him into drugs, crime, and a brief brush with the law. A turning point arrives when Rod is placed under the care of his Pentecostal grandparents and thrust into a church that worships with tongues, prophecy, and relentless prayer. The clash between the church’s supernatural atmosphere and his skeptical teenage mind fuels a crisis of identity, forcing him to choose a side. He chooses Jesus, and the narrative shifts to a dramatic conversion that ignites a prophetic calling. Rod shares how he moved from a life of hypocrisy—football star by day, sinner by night—to preaching, revivals, and a ministry that baptizes believers in a six‑foot horse trough and spreads across the nation.Rod’s testimony culminates in the launch of his book, *From Death to Deliverance*, which he describes not as a devotional but as a battlefield manual for believers fighting strongholds of addiction, suicide, and same‑sex attraction. He urges listeners to “get on the Ark,” to abandon religion, churches, and pastors as saviors, and to place their hope solely in Jesus. The episode ends with a powerful invitation to surrender, pray, and join the movement that promises deliverance from darkness.Listeners will hear raw, unfiltered stories of abuse, addiction, and redemption, and a clarion call to step onto the Ark before the spiritual storm arrives.
