CCCH244-1st Service - He Knows Where You Are - Part 2 Proverbs 3 19-26 - Calvary Chapel Chino Hills - Jack Hibbs

Jack Hibbs delivers a powerful, scripture‑rich message that reminds listeners God sees every step, every fear, and every triumph. Drawing from Proverbs 3:19‑26, he paints a picture of a Creator who founded the earth with wisdom and who watches over us with loving discretion. He weaves in Psalm 18, the story of Elijah’s cave, and the perseverance of Derek Redmond to illustrate how divine presence turns panic into peace and pain into purpose.Hibbs emphasizes that God’s knowledge of our location isn’t abstract; it’s personal. He recalls a woman who felt the heavens rejoice over her repentance, and he points to Jesus’ invitation to Nathanael, reminding us that even a single encounter can change a life. The pastor urges believers to cling to “sound wisdom and discretion,” urging them to let God’s guidance be the “eye” on their forehead, directing each step toward the finish line of faith. The sermon moves through key promises: Isaiah 40:31’s renewed strength, Philippians 3:14’s forward press, and Hebrews 13:5’s assurance that God never abandons us. Hibbs challenges listeners to reject fear, to work diligently, and to treat every action—whether eating, drinking, or surfing—as an offering to God. He concludes with a rallying cry: if God is for us, no opposition can prevail, and we are called to run the race with confidence, knowing the Lord is ever‑present, ever‑faithful. This episode is a call to trust, persevere, and let the omniscient God who knows where you are become the source of your daily courage and ultimate hope.
