CCCH236-Satan Does NOT Want You To Know This About The Dark Realm - Calvary Chapel Chino Hills - Jack Hibbs

Jack Hibbs dives deep into the biblical reality of the dark realm, exposing the surge of demonic activity that has been unfolding since the Garden of Eden. Anchored in John 14:29 and Matthew 24, he explains how Scripture alone predicts future events, unlike other religious texts. Hibbs warns that both believers and non‑believers are under attack, as Satan whispers lies that erode confidence and love. He clarifies the limits of Satan’s power—he is not omnipotent or omnipresent, and his authority is confined to the realm he occupies. The episode unpacks the hierarchy of spiritual beings: archangels such as Michael, Gabriel, and the fallen Lucifer, then the vast ranks of fallen angels and demons described in Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 14, and Revelation 12. Hibbs contrasts fallen angels with demons, showing how the former retain greater authority but are still subject to God’s sovereign will. He illustrates spiritual warfare with vivid analogies, urging listeners to wield prayer as “air support” against the enemy’s deception.Historical examples reinforce his points. Hibbs recounts Christopher Columbus’s reliance on Scripture to challenge the flat‑earth myth, demonstrating how truth triumphs over widespread falsehood. He also references the New Testament accounts of Jesus confronting Legion, emphasizing that demons fear water and that the gospel’s light can pierce even the darkest deception.Throughout, Hibbs calls the audience to stand firm, pray boldly, and cling to the truth of Jesus Christ. He reminds listeners that while the dark realm seeks to blind, God’s love and the power of the gospel are the ultimate weapons for victory.
